The All-Electric Ford Mustang Mach-E Has Been Revealed

Electric is the future. As fans of the Ford brand, it's with great pleasure that we reveal the Ford Mustang Mach-E to our customers around Traverse City and Mesick. It's an all-electric SUV that will expand the world-renowned Mustang lineup for the first time in over five decades.

While many drivers have been hesitant to make the jump to all-electric thanks to the segment having a reputation for weaker performance, the Ford Mustang Mach-E aims to change that perception. There's a reason that it incorporated the name Mustang, and it's not just a simple bit of branding. The Ford Mustang Mach-E has a zero to 60 time that is faster than the base Porsche Macan series. What's more, is that its performance output hits 332 horsepower and 417 pound-feet of torque at its base level, though drivers will be able to choose from one of two performance-focused models.

The first is the GT, which gets a zero to 60 time of under four seconds, which is faster than a Porsche Macan Turbo3. The second is the GT Performance Edition, which is aiming to get that time about a half-second faster. Either way, you'll get an improved performance output of 342 kW and 830 Nm, which translates to 459 horsepower and 612 pound-feet of torque. Simply put, this all-electric SUV is no slouch.

However, the Ford Mustang Mach-E isn't just about power; it's also about practicality. When equipped with the available extended range battery and rear-wheel drive, the Ford Mustang Mach-E will get an EPA-estimated range of at least 300 miles, allowing you to keep your mind on the road rather than worrying about having to recharge.

Drivers will be able to get the Ford Mustang Mach-E in Traverse City starting in 2021. If you're interested in staying up to date with all things related to the Ford Mustang Mach-E, fill out our contact form or give us a call at 1-231-412-8667.
