What's New on the 2023 Ford Escape?
The new Escape has some changes. The first is that it now offers a bold new design for the front end. You can see that the grille is wider, the Ford logo is larger, and the hood and bumpers have been reworked as well, along with the wheel designs. Also, the trim levels have been renamed, and the plug-in hybrid edition is now on its own as a trim instead of being tied into another trim. With standard 2023 Escape vehicles, you are going to find a 181-horsepower turbocharged three-cylinder engine in front- or all-wheel drive. You can also opt for a 2.5-liter hybrid engine that is able to provide 210 horsepower or a turbocharged 250-horsepower four-cylinder on select models. Each offers standout fuel economy with gas options reaching up to 30 miles per gallon combined, while the plug-in hybrid returns 44 miles per gallon in the city.
