How can I tell if my brakes need servicing?
If you aren't sure if you need to get new brake pads or rotors, there are a couple of warning signs that you can look for. In a lot of cases, your brakes will tell you when it's time for maintenance, and the most obvious telltale sign is that your vehicle won't be as responsive when you brake. Many newer Ford vehicles have sensors that detect when a brake pad is worn down. Additionally, you'll hear a rubbing or screeching sound when you apply the brakes.
