The new Ford Explorer is also a capable tower, as you can bring your boats and watercraft to the lake, or campers and trailers, as it can reach up to 5,000 pounds of towing with the right setup and trailer package.

The latest technology is available on the 2025 Ford Explorer, highlighted by a new 13.2-inch touchscreen that's now standard. You can integrate Google and Amazon, plus Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ and find many connection ports through the cabin, with up to eight USB ports. There's also the ability to stream videos from YouTube, and play games via Google Play on your touch display when the vehicle is parked, and there's also a 12-speaker sound system available.
Thanks to Ford Co-Pilot360™ there are many driver assistance safety features available. These include Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Information System, Lane-Keeping System, Rear View Camera, and Auto High-Beam Headlamps. You can also find available BlueCruise technology even allows for hands-free driving on mapped routes across the country in certain conditions.
