New Features on the Ford Bronco

Ford has brought a new trim to the Bronco lineup called the Free Wheeling. It is a retro-styled option with 1970s-inspired paint stripes while utilizing the Bronco Big Bend's attributes. This edition is for anyone who wants to make an impression and enjoy driving a standout off-roader, as the Sasquatch off-road package is available along with multiple other features.

Performance

Drivers will find the Ford Bronco offers a 2.3-liter turbocharged 300-horsepower four-cylinder engine, giving it plenty of power. You can also opt for a 330-horsepower twin-turbo V6 on select models. The standard option uses a 10-speed automatic with a seven-speed manual available, so you can pick the transmission that meets your driving needs. Each new Bronco offers four-wheel drive, and that 4x4 capability comes with many available off-road and all-terrain features. This includes an independent front suspension, 35-inch tires, a sway bar disconnect, and electronic front and rear differentials.

The new Bronco is also a capable tower. It can pull up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped, and it's plenty efficient for its segment as it can get 20 miles per gallon in the city and 22 miles per gallon on the highway while also giving you plenty of mileage off the beaten path, too.

Interior

You'll find the ideal fit between two-door or four-door Bronco vehicles and soft-top or hard-top options. Each has removable body panels, which means enjoying the open air through Traverse City and out to the shores of Lake Michigan or Traverse Bay for days on the lake area, along with cruises around town to take in the sunshine. Other adventure-ready features include rubberized flooring for easy cleaning and various upholstery options from vinyl to leather. With two-door Bronco vehicles, you can fit four adults, while the four-door option offers more room for five, plus has 50 percent more cargo space to store items in the rear of the SUV.

With a 12-inch touch display that's easy to reach and use, the new Ford Bronco offers plenty of connectivity. This comes via wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration, along with SYNC 4 and premium sound options, plus to ensure you have the latest software and mapping if you've got navigation onboard, there are over-the-air updates to keep your Bronco technology current.
