The performance disparity doesn't end there either. The Honda Pilot only features the single-engine option, while the Ford Explorer offers Suttons Bay and Manton drivers with three other options. The available engines are as follows:

Features

The Ford Explorer also wins out on standard features. Its upholstery is crafted from premium cloth, while the Honda Pilot features only basic cloth. Satellite radio and park assist are also standard right from the base trim level, while the Honda Pilot only offers them as more expensive add-ons. In addition, the Ford Explorer lets you customize its base trim level with more premium features such as navigation and heated seats.
