From John's Desk... November 15 kicks off our 2nd annual toy drive. When you bring in a new, unwrapped toy you’ll receive 2 free water park passes from Great Wolf Lodge. This is the same generous offer that Great Wolf Lodge gave last year and it helped to make the toy drive a huge success. We collected over 8000 toys to give to the Marines’ Toys for Tots program last year and our goal is to hit another new, record setting year. We’re going to have a big celebration at the end of the toy drive on Saturday, December 11. The party is open to the public from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. We’re still working out the details for the party, but I can tell you last year was great. We had live reindeer, food & drinks, a bounce house in the show room, a juggler on a unicycle, and much more. It was a full house! We hope you’ll join us. November "Oh Deer" Tip: Michigan is one of the top 10 deer danger states. We just wanted to take this time to remind you to drive carefully and cautiously these next few months. Be watchful especially at dawn and dusk near open fields and wooded areas.
