What's New on the 2022 Ford F-250?
There are lots of new features on the 2022 F-250. This includes updates to the infotainment with an available 12-inch touch display and wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®. You're also getting new packages on different trim levels, which adds features like a color-matched grille, bumpers and mirrors. Additionally, there's new color options. On the outside you can add Atlas Blue, which inside the likes of the F-250 LARIAT, you're able to add Baja interior color, and the limited adds Navy Pier and Light Slate.
What are the F-250 Trim Options?
There are six F-250 trim levels which include:
- Ford F-250 XL
- Ford F-250 XLT
- Ford F-250 LARIAT
- Ford F-250 King Ranch
- Ford F-250 Platinum
- Ford F-250 Limited
Performance
As you should expect, the Ford F-250 standout performance. This includes the 6.2-liter V8 with 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. It has either a base six-speed automatic or 10-speed automatic transmission, along with being available in either rear- or four-wheel drive. There's also the ability to equip the F-250 with either a gas-powered 7.3-liter V8 with 430 horsepower, or a Power Stroke diesel engine V8 with 475 horsepower and up to 1,050 pound-feet of torque. There's also off-road packages available too. As for its towing the max conventional towing is 24,200 pounds and 37,000 pounds with fifth-wheel and gooseneck options, depending on the setup. Also there's a max payload of 7,850 pounds.
Truck Options
As many know, with a truck you get choices on cabin and bed size. The F-250 offers you the choice of two truck beds. There's either a 6.75-foot or eight-foot box, while there's regular and crew cab options. The regular cab only comes with the long box. There's also functionality like cubbies and trays as well as a large center console on options that have bucket seats. You can even find a lockable box under the rear seat with crew cab choices.
Technology & Safety
You're able to find lots of interior features that keep you connected such as touch display choices, audio systems, and accessory outlets in and out of the truck to provide you with lots of power and versatility no matter where you go.
